As a secondary school student in Colombo he started his martial arts training that provided him the discipline to work his way through college and to attain his present position as a Master Instructor and Director of the Wushu School Amsterdam.
Sifu Ravi strongly promoted the Chinese Black Dragon Wushu Association.
He gave martial arts demonstrations for various private organisations and educational institutions in Asia and Europe. As an Assistant Martial Arts Choreographer he produced a school-commercial.

Sifu Ravi is also an active promotor of ‘All styles’ and he’s a weapons experts and acrobatics trainer.

SIFU RAVI HAS TRAINED IN CHINA at the Zhengzhou Shaolin Martial Arts-major Institute.

Zhutian XiZhengzhou Shaolin Wushu special college is one of the earliest Wushu grade experimental colleges that was ranked by the Wushu research institute, a national Wushu sports administration centre. It is also a college that writes the taolu (a kind of Wushu) for National Wushu Administration centre.
The level of international recognition of the school is high, many excellent students from seventeen countries , including U.S.A, France ,Japan ,Russia, Holland, Italy ,Singapore, Australia,Spain, Hungary ,Argentina and Hongkong, Macao,Taiwan etc,train and establish the college relationship, every year. Hundreds of people from all over the world visit the college for inter-communication, also schools coaches and students are sent abroad to visit or perform, foreign affairs frequently.

At present ,Zhengzhou Shaolin Wushu special college is developing new methods of managing the school aspiring, and is striding forward to the aim of civil highest and international advanced Wushu college.
President Zhutian Xi of Zhengzhou Shaolin Martial Arts-major Institute, Director of Zhengzhou Shaolin Kungfu Institute, has a Chinese Wushu Degree 7, is a.o. an owner of international outstanding medical achievement gold medal, first place winner of Shaolin Kungfu of No.7 World cup Wushu championships, champion of World Celebrities High Degree Exhibition Match, representative of current Chinese Shaolin Kungfu School.
